Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully. They govern your use of ShowIn AI, including subscriptions, credits, AI-generated content, and your responsibilities.

1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and ShowIn AI ("ShowIn AI," "we," or "us") governing your access to and use of our websites, applications, and services (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization, and "you" refers to that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

ShowIn AI is an SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) content platform. It helps you research keywords, generate optimized articles and media, publish to connected content management systems, audit your site, and monitor how your brand appears across AI answer engines. We may add, change, or remove features over time to improve the Service.

3. Eligibility & Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service.
  • You access the Service by signing in with Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the Google account you use and for all activity under your ShowIn AI account.
  • You agree to provide accurate information and to promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscriptions, Credits & Payment

4.1 Plans & Pricing

The Service is offered on subscription plans described on our Pricing page, which sets out current features, quotas, and prices. Any trial or introductory offer, and whether and when it converts to a paid plan, will be disclosed at the time of sign-up or checkout.

4.2 Credits & Quotas

Each plan includes an allowance of generation credits for a billing period. Generating one article consumes ten credits. Unless stated otherwise on the Pricing page, unused credits do not roll over and reset at the start of each billing period. If a generation fails due to a system error, the associated credits are restored; dissatisfaction with output caused by your inputs is not a system error.

4.3 Payment & Renewal

Payments are processed by our payment providers, Stripe and Creem. Subscriptions renew automatically for successive periods until you cancel. You authorize us and our providers to charge your payment method for applicable fees and taxes. Prices may change; we will give notice of material changes before they apply to your next renewal.

4.4 Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you retain access until then. Except where required by law or expressly stated at purchase, fees already paid are non-refundable, and canceling does not entitle you to a refund for the current period.

5. Content & Intellectual Property

  • Your content: You retain all rights to the data, text, and files you provide ("Input"). You grant us a limited license to process your Input solely to operate and provide the Service to you.
  • Generated output: Subject to your compliance with these Terms and full payment of applicable fees, we assign to you our rights in the content generated for you ("Output"), which you may edit, publish, or sell. You are responsible for reviewing Output before use. Similar Output may be generated for other users.
  • Our property: We and our licensors own the Service, including its software, models, workflows, design, and trademarks. These Terms grant you no rights to them except the limited right to use the Service.
  • Feedback: If you send us suggestions, we may use them without restriction or obligation to you.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to create or distribute unlawful, infringing, deceptive, hateful, or sexually exploitative content, or to spam or manipulate search or AI systems abusively.
  • Infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or models of the Service.
  • Scrape, overload, disrupt, or circumvent the technical limits or security of the Service.
  • Resell, sublicense, or share your account access without our written permission.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services you choose to connect, including Google Search Console, WordPress, and Shopify, and relies on providers such as AI models, AI answer engines, and data vendors. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and you are responsible for having the rights to connect them. We are not responsible for third-party services and may modify or discontinue an integration if a provider changes or restricts its service.

8. AI Disclaimer

  • Accuracy: AI-generated Output may be inaccurate or incomplete ("hallucinations"). You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all facts, figures, and citations before relying on or publishing Output.
  • No performance guarantee: We provide data-driven tools and recommendations but do not guarantee any specific search ranking, traffic, mention, citation, or GEO-visibility outcome. Search and AI engines are third-party systems we do not control, and their results change over time.
  • Estimates: Visibility and analytics metrics are estimates derived from third-party data and non-deterministic AI responses, and are provided for informational purposes.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, fail to pay, or create risk or legal exposure for us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that Output will meet your requirements.

11. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShowIn AI will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold ShowIn AI harmless from claims, losses, and expenses arising from your Input, your use of the Service, your published content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

12. Changes & General Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time; when we make material changes we will update the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
